University High School Parents’ Association Small GrantS Program
The University High School Parents’ Association (UHSPA) established its Grants Committee in order to provide funding on a smaller scale to support and strengthen the UHS community’s ability to achieve its mission of serving students who are academically focused and intellectually gifted by providing curriculum and social support that educates the whole student. The UHSPA Small Grants program receives its funds through family contributions to the UHSPA Annual Fund. The Small Grants Committee reviews grant applications submitted by UHS administrators, faculty and staff members, and students, and then makes its recommendation to the UHSPA Board. Based on information from grant applications and the Grant Committee's recommendations, UHSPA Board members vote to determine whether to grant funds to applicants.
